Busy weekend ahead. Football game on saturday and softball game on sunday. It's quite chilly here in Illinois right now so I think I am going to have to pull out my portable heater. My husband bought it for me a couple years ago because I spend spring, summer, and fall at our kids' games and it has been one of the best gifts he ever gave me.
My latest project I am attempting to work on is a picture collage for each sport season for each kid. I did this awhile ago and the collages are hanging throughout our stairway. I now have to get caught up. I am @ 2 years behind so I figure this is my next project. Michael's here I come...I have a COUPON!!! Yea!!!
Have a great weekend!

Challenge accepted!
I entered my first challenge today for ssdschallenge.blogspot.com. The challenge was a thank you card and thanks to Susan at cricutandgrasshopper.blogspot.com she let me know about this challenge. Thank you Susan so much! I am a newbie at these challenges. So hopefully I did everything I needed to do to enter. I entered the thank you card I did earlier for my son's graduation party. It is such a simple card.

I did it! I finally got to spend a day scrapbooking. I was so excited. I completed three pages of my daughters album. It was so much fun just to sit and create without constantly being interrupted.
My daughter had a birthday party sleepover to go to this weekend and I created this card for the birthday girl.
I am starting to get interested in stamping and I really should invest in a set of stamps for these occasions. Using the cricut to print out tiny ity bitty letters is really hard. It does it but boy are they a pain in the butt to try to paste onto a card. And I think if I had stamped on their Happy Birthday that would have made it even cuter. Just another item to work on...hehe.

I'm back!
I feel terrible that I haven't been keeping up with my blog. I have been trying to get caught up on just everything. I don't do my spring cleaning in the spring...I actually do it once the kids go back to school. So I have been doing a DEEP cleaning throughout my house. And I am proud to say that my 1st floor is done. Now it is off to the second floor which has the bedrooms and our office. I am dreading the office. I think that room is the worst. It's the room where we all through everything. UGH!
Well, on a good note I was able to get the thank you cards done from my son's party. I will have to post a pix of one of them. I used the Happy Graduation cartridge to make a cap and used that on the cover of the card. I also just purchased the Sports Mania cartridge and I am looking forward to using it. I have so many sports pictures to scrapbook that this cartridge will get so much use. I have so many ideas for it :)
Football is in full swing. My son's football team (freshman squad) is 2-0 and he has scored 6 touchdowns in 2 games. Awesome! I love watching him run but I don't think the people sitting behind me like it. I jump up and down like a crazy woman yelling at him to GO GO GO!!!!
Softball is picking up for now. We have practice, hitting, and scrimmage games going on. My daughter did her first ever 3 game day. She was wiped out at the end of the third game. And it was a very hot day. Her team is getting ready for their first tournament at the end of this month. It is a National Qualifier tournament so if they do good we will be heading to Nationals in July 2012. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I am such a proud mama!!!
